国際貿易サービス＆ガバナンス・スペシャリスト/ ITS & Governance Specialist

A multinational chemical company is looking for an International Trade Service and Governance Specialist. The selected candidate will provide critical support for international trade services and governance activities, ensuring compliance with global import/export regulations. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strong customs and trade compliance support to business units
• Serve as the ITSG single point of contact for Japan to ensure regulatory compliance
• Drive import/export operations, ensuring 100% compliance with global strategies
• Work with external logistics suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely execution
• Manage Trade Security Programs, including import/export control and sanction party screening
• Oversee customs compliance permits, licenses, audits, and inspections
• Provide customs regulatory updates, guidance, and training to stakeholders
• Monitor supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and action
• Manage Customs Brokers’ performance, aligning SOPs and KPIs
• Support corporate projects and manage logistics disruptions in real-time

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 5–10 years of experience in International Trade Compliance & Operations
• Proven experience in import/export, customs, and trade compliance
• Proficient in working across multiple cultures and market levels
• Familiarity with technological tools and processes
• Professional level Japanese and English
