法務マネージャー/ Legal Manager

An international life science company is looking for a Legal Manager. The chosen applicant will be in charge of providing business legal support including drafting, reviewing, and advising on various contracts. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Offer legal consultation and support for litigation and dispute resolution
• Support M&A and other strategic legal matters
• Prepare, revise, and improve company rules and policies
• Handle group entities’ Board of Directors and Shareholders meetings, changes in directors and articles of incorporation, company incorporation, capital increases, mergers etc.
• Maintain and update group entities’ information in the global corporate database, including legal document filing
• Work with global legal to execute global projects such as reorganisation of corporate structure on a global level
• Plan and introduce improvement measures for increasing operational productivity and quality

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of working experience in the corporate legal department of a multinational company or a law firm
• Prior employee management experience
• Strong awareness of corporate compliance
• Professional experience in a non-Japanese company is desirable
• Fluent level Japanese; business level written and verbal English
