A global software solutions company is looking for a Business Development Manager. The selected candidate will drive new license sales, manage renewals, and grow key accounts across Japan. This is a remote setup role.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a national sales strategy for Japan
  • Conduct meetings to sell software licenses to new customers
  • Manage licence renewals and upsell opportunities with existing clients
  • Conduct 3–5 business meetings weekly through Teams or in person
  • Maintain accurate sales status in CRM and report to the VP of Revenue
  • Coordinate with customers for contracts, orders, and invoicing
  • Participate in marketing events such as conferences and exhibitions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in direct sales
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or software development company
  • Experience selling to large aerospace & defence companies
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Business level written and verbal English
