ソリューションエンジニア/ Solution Engineer

A Solution Engineer role is now open in an international cybersecurity services company. The chosen candidate will be in charge of supporting the entire process from pre-sales to the delivery of products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain in-depth technical expertise in the company’s solutions and architecture
• Conduct technical and non-technical discussions with clients and prospects to identify challenges, requirements, and objectives
• Provide demonstrations of solutions and services to customers and partners
• Facilitate technical evaluations for prospective clients
• Prepare technical responses for client proposals and tenders
• Gather customer feedback on product features and enhancements
• Travel as needed to customer sites, industry events, and conferences
• Support the Sales team in achieving technical closure to drive revenue

Requirements:

• Experience in cybersecurity or a related technical role
• Experience in technical sales, consulting, or IT support
• Experience with REST and XML-based APIs, including integration within IT/IS environments
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), covering compute, networking, and security best practices
• Understanding of Digital Trust principles, including symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, digital signatures, PKI authentication, secure email, OT/IoT security, code and document signing, Zero Trust architecture, and quantum cryptography
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, management, networking, and troubleshooting. Experience with Helm and cluster scaling is a plus
• Knowledge of serverless computing and IAM is advantageous
• Information Security certification (e.g., CISSP, Security+, SSCP, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, CRISC, GSEC, GISP, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN, GWAPT, CEH) is preferred
• Native level Japanese; business level English
