A multinational telecommunications company is looking for an Account Manager for IP and Optical solutions. The selected candidate will drive end-to-end sales strategies and deepen relationships with key service provider accounts. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute sales and go-to-market strategies for IP Optical solutions
  • Qualify opportunities, present solutions, and respond to RFx requests
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead identification to closing purchase orders
  • Coordinate pre-sales efforts and collaborate across internal teams
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships as the primary account owner
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals
  • Maintain Salesforce updates and provide regular forecasting to management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • More than 5 years of experience in sales within the telecommunications industry, especially with service provider accounts
  • Experience selling across multiple organisational levels
  • Skilled in consultative and solution-selling techniques
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
  • Native level Japanese; business level English
