インシデントマネージャー/ Incident Manager
A renowned technology company is seeking an experienced Incident Manager. The selected candidate will lead incident management operations and drive continuous service improvements across complex IT infrastructures. This is a contract role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead incident response and cross-functional resolution efforts
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
- Communicate updates and manage stakeholder expectations
- Document incidents to support analysis and compliance
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventive measures
- Support problem management and IT support process improvements
- Develop IT policies and collaborate on technical requirements
- Mentor IT support staff and evaluate performance
- Manage escalations with external service providers
- Ensure compliance with internal IT security standards
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools
- Provide technical leadership and enforce operational standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in IT or related field
- 6-8 years of experience in IT support and management
- Hands-on experience with BSS, CRM, billing, collections, and order management
- Experience working in Japan or with Japanese stakeholders
- Organisational skills and multi-vendor coordination experience
- Budget management and compliance knowledge is preferred
- Proficient in troubleshooting BSS issues and hosting technical bridges
- Possess a valid ITIL Certification
- Proficient in Japanese and English (TOEIC 800+)
