A leading weather technology company is looking for a Senior Cloud Software Engineer. The selected candidate will lead cloud operations management and technical development for advanced wind observation technology.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cloud-based systems
• Manage cloud operations, infrastructure design, and environment construction
• Plan and develop services utilising cloud technologies
• Implement and modify IoT systems in collaboration with embedded engineers
• Train and mentor new employees
• Aggregate and analyse usage data
• Manage customer negotiations and outsourcing

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience as a programmer
• More than 2 years of experience in cloud-native application development (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• More than 2 years of experience in a leadership role
• Technical Stack (AWS, Python 3.x, JavaScript, Vue.js, C++17, Redis, MySQL, JetBrains, Slack, etc.)
• Practical experience in project management, embedded application development, or information security best practices
• Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD, and SRE environment construction
• Physics and mathematical knowledge (Fourier transforms, trigonometric functions)
• Strong communication skills using tools (Slack and Teams)
• Business level Japanese; proficient in English is ideal
