R&D製品開発マネージャー/ R&D Product Development Manager

A renowned skincare brand is looking for an R&D Product Development Manager. The selected candidate will drive the development of new skincare products, collaborate with multiple teams, and oversee formula industrialisation. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative product concepts integrating cutting-edge formulas and ingredients
• Collaborate with marketing teams to draft formula briefs for new and improved products
• Lead formula development in partnership with OEM and subcontractors, aligning with product goals
• Manage project timelines and quality, ensuring timely submissions and progress
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product compliance
• Oversee formula industrialisation, including stability, compatibility, and safety testing

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of experience in the development of cosmetic formulas
• Background in OEM and subcontractor management
• Ability to create formulas of skincare products
• Understanding of international regulations (Chinese regulations)
• Fluent level Japanese and English
