A multinational advanced materials science company is looking for a Senior Specialist, HR Shared Services. The selected candidate will manage payroll operations, support HR process improvements, and drive service delivery excellence. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll data and transactions for Japan and China, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Support implementation of global and regional HR strategies and policies
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives within HR operations
• Partner with Corporate HR, country HR, and functional teams to ensure operational excellence
• Lead HR process transitions to the Malaysia HR team and support service migration projects
• Handle escalations, resolve complex issues, and deliver high-quality HR customer service
• Monitor service performance metrics and ensure adherence to compliance and audit standards
• Support training, stakeholder engagement, and change management activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources or a related field
• More than 5 years of experience in HR Shared Services with payroll operations for Japan and China
• Proven experience in service migration projects within a matrixed organisation
• Proficient in Workday and SAP GlobalView systems
• Ability to drive process improvements and manage change
• Professional level Japanese and English
