A global sustainable energy company is seeking a Technical Manager, Japan. The selected candidate will manage technical documentation, support tender processes, and assist in project-specific reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and organise technical documentation for projects
• Establish documentation processes based on best practices
• Manage systems for technical documentation storage and access
• Prepare and draft tender documents
• Evaluate and recommend bidders based on assessments and interviews
• Review project requirements, including layouts, land use, and energy storage systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or a relevant domain
• More than 5 years of engineering experience
• Experience in electrical engineering, civil work, or EPC within project development teams
• Prior experience in technical documentation management
• Knowledge of energy industry technology is a plus (grid, thermal power plants, batteries, inverters, the balance of system components, etc.)
• Fluent level Japanese; proficient in written English
