A renowned asset management firm is seeking a Corporate Research Analyst. The selected candidate will conduct bottom-up equity analysis and engage directly with Japanese listed companies. This is a direct contract-to-perm role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct bottom-up research on Japanese equities with optional top-down and macro perspectives
• Participate in direct meetings with listed companies to gather insights
• Analyse financial data and build investment cases for coverage stocks

Requirements:

• Prior research analyst experience in buy-side business
• Proven expertise in sectors such as financials, real estate, materials, or technology is ideal
• Skilled in generating short ideas and applying ESG frameworks is preferred
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
