アプリケーションエンジニア/ Application Engineer

A global automotive solutions company is looking for an Application Engineer. The chosen applicant will provide technical support and consultation to assigned customers or groups of customers.

Responsibilities:

• Support the customer during RFQ phase and design changes
• Assist sales organization in explaining technical details of offers during business development and RFQs
• Review and submit 2D/3D and all technical documentation to customer
• Provide technical support for requests related to serial production parts
• Align with customer on requirements and expectations related to prototypes before delivery
• Determine future customer needs and feed this information back to the R&D group
• Participate in Tech Day and customer visits
• Negotiate technical customer specifications, especially during the RFQ phase
• Develop design concepts, proposals, and solutions and present them to the customer

Requirements:

• Experience working with Japanese automobile manufacturers
• Experience in design and development
• Experience in technical negotiations with customers
• Business level Japanese and English
