ECUハードウェアレジデントエンジニア/ ECU Hardware Resident Engineer

A multinational engineering company is seeking an ECU Hardware Resident Engineer. The selected candidate will act as the key liaison between the customer and ECU hardware teams, leading technical coordination, issue tracking, and timeline management.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary interface between the customer and the ECU hardware team
• Manage hardware-related changes, including requirement handling and customer negotiation
• Align hardware development timing with project milestones
• Support validation through test plan definition, negotiation, and reporting
• Provide onsite customer support and troubleshoot hardware issues during development
• Facilitate communication on hardware design topics and support safety compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in automotive applications
• Understanding of automotive and functional safety development processes
• Skilled in A-SPICE, ISO/SAE 21434 (UN R155/156), and ECU hardware testing
• Possess a valid driver's licence in Japan
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
