税務部門 ディレクター補佐/ Japan Associate Director, Tax

An international data centre company is looking for a Japan Associate Director, Tax. The selected candidate will lead strategic tax initiatives and ensure compliance across all tax matters in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advisory support on Japan-related transactions
• Lead strategic tax initiatives within the Japan business
• Handle Japanese aspects of emerging laws such as Pillar 2 and Country-by-Country Reporting
• Oversee tax matters, including direct, indirect, and employee taxes and transfer pricing
• Ensure compliance with all local tax filing obligations
• Build and manage strong relationships with local tax advisors
• Identify opportunities to improve local tax positions and processes

Requirements:

• 10-15 years of proven experience in tax roles within industry or professional firms
• Experience in international business settings
• Interest in the data centre industry
• Possess a valid Certified Public Tax Accountant (Zeirishi) or equivalent professional qualification
• Native level written and verbal Japanese; business level English
