A well-known insurance company is looking for an Associate, Research Department. The selected candidate will analyse credit fundamentals, monitor portfolio holdings, and provide investment recommendations on Japanese corporate bonds.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse credit fundamentals and valuation of Japanese corporate bond issuers
• Provide investment recommendations on new-issue and secondary-market bonds
• Present recommendations to domestic and overseas portfolio managers and traders
• Monitor and track portfolio holdings regularly

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience as a credit/equity analyst or accounting firm
• Experience in relative value analysis is a plus
• Prior experience in other types of financial products (structured finance, public equities, or foreign bonds)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Understanding of the Japanese public bond and credit market is ideal
• Business level English; native level Japanese
