アカウントマネージャー/ Account Manager

A multinational biotechnology company is looking for an Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will support financial reporting, analysis, and compliance efforts across various accounting functions. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements in line with GAAP
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure financial data accuracy
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and improvement areas
• Contribute to ERP system improvements in collaboration with the finance team

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in accounting is ideal
• Experience with improvement initiatives relevant to accounting systems and processes
• Prior experience in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Proven experience with internal controls and compliance frameworks is preferred (design, execution, and monitoring of control processes to ensure financial accuracy)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
• Understanding of Japanese GAAP and IFRS
• Native level reading, written, and spoken Japanese; business level English is ideal
