A global energy resources company is looking for an Accountant. The selected candidate will ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting aligned with statutory and group standards.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain books and records in compliance with financial reporting and statutory standards
• Execute monthly closing processes to ensure accurate and timely reports
• Reconcile accounting and trading systems for ledger accuracy
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
• Support external audits and internal control reviews
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost reporting quality and efficiency

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in accounting
• Skilled in MS Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Professional level Japanese; proficient English is ideal
