A global telecommunications company is looking for a GL/Accounting professional (Junior, Senior, or Manager level). The selected candidate will handle financial reporting, reconciliations, and local GAAP adjustments while ensuring compliance with IFRS.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end financial statements in compliance with IFRS
• Post journal entries, reconcile balances, accruals, and provisions
• Conduct monthly P&L and balance sheet reviews
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly reports for group consolidation
• Identify and adjust IFRS to Local GAAP discrepancies
• Analyse revenue recognition, inventory valuation, and deferred taxes
• Prepare Local GAAP adjustments and map accounts accurately
• Reconcile differences in accounting treatments

Requirements:

• 3-10 years of experience in finance and accounting
• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
• Skilled in SAP/ S4Hana ERP system
• Proficient in Japanese and English
