A Solution Consultant position is now available at a global technology organisation. The chosen applicant will be identifying customer goals and business drivers, and designing creative solutions that meet their ever-growing contact centre needs.
Responsibilities:
Identify and address customer's technical needs and objections to drive new sales and existing account expansion
Master the company software portfolio at an intermediate level
Evaluate the technical sustainability of each new sales opportunity or Request for Proposal
Facilitate a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation by providing adequate knowledge transfer
Assist Sales team through preparation and delivery of business discussions, technical presentations, and product demonstrations
Meet with prospective customers as a trusted technical advisor
Gather valuable field data and product feedback from each customer engagement
Deliver partner enablement activities, ranging from ad-hoc updates to extended knowledge transfer sessions
Assist in the preparation and response to customer RFP requests
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Communications, or related field
More than 2 years of sales experience outside of sales engineering in a software environment
Deep understanding of call centre technologies, automatic call distributors (ACD), and interactive voice response (IVR) systems
Knowledge of workforce optimisation and analytics practices and technologies
Background of digital self-service, messaging, and social media platforms
Familiarity with IP telephony, SIP trunk, WebRTC.
Basic knowledge of cloud security
Experience with programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python, and including the use of REST APIs is a plus
Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English (CEFR B2+ / IELTS 5.5+)
