テクニカルサポートエンジニア/ Technical Support Engineer
A global computer security services provider is looking for a Technical Support Engineer. The selected candidate will troubleshoot complex network and application traffic issues, resolve security and performance problems, support multi-cloud deployments, and help improve technical support practices.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose advanced L4–L7 traffic issues across SSL, HTTP, TCP, and other application protocols
- Resolve performance bottlenecks, session anomalies, HTTP errors, redirect loops, and timeout-related issues
- Support customer network, application, DevOps, and security teams in fixing integration, deployment, and configuration challenges
- Investigate security incidents involving WAF, SSLi, SIEM, and DDoS detection across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Perform packet-level and traffic simulation analysis using tools such as tcpdump, Wireshark, Ixia, Spirent, and Apache JMeter
- Reproduce customer environments in lab settings, document troubleshooting knowledge, and mentor internal teams on debugging methodologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a computer related field
- More than 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience troubleshooting Layer: 2/3 protocols (VLANs, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, IPv4/6, ARP, RIP, NAT)
- Prior experience configuring and installing Linux applications
- Proven experience providing support to direct customers, resellers, and field personnel in resolving product related issues
- Background in monitoring and alerting solutions
- Prior background deploying AWS, or AZURE
- Knowledge of Layer-4 protocols (TCP, UDP)
- Proficient in scripting, programming, or test methodologies
- Familiarity of DDoS attack mechanics and mitigation strategies
Preferred requirements:
- Possess valid advanced networking certifications (CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, ISACA or JNCIP)
