ITマネージャー/ IT Manager

A global travel retail operations company is seeking an IT Manager. The selected candidate will establish and maintain the IT infrastructure for office and store operations, ensuring seamless technology, systems, and support across multiple brands.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and integrate POS systems for stores, ensuring reliable connectivity and data synchronisation
• Set up and manage office IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, email systems, and office equipment
• Oversee help desk operations, providing troubleshooting and user support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Manage software procurement, licensing, updates, and integrations for core business tools
• Facilitate software integrations between Japan operations and the Regional HQ, enabling smooth data flow and reporting
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT procurement, installations, and ongoing support
• Support scalability for future growth, including expansion of store locations and adoption of new technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• More than 5 years of IT experience
• More than 2 years of experience in a managerial or lead role
• Experience in retail, hospitality, or international business IT setups
• Proficient in networking (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi), server management (on-premise or cloud), POS systems, and help desk operations
• Skilled in software integrations, APIs, and ERP/HR/Finance platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, QuickBooks)
• Knowledge of Japanese IT regulations, data privacy laws, and international best practices
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess valid relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator)
