プロダクトマネージャー/ Product Manager

A multinational eCommerce company is seeking a Product Manager. The selected candidate will lead product planning, requirements definition, and continuous service improvement. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive product vision, mission and strategy for the API Platform and Open API program
• Create testable technical specifications for API contracts and non-functional requirements
• Organise current tasks and plan future enhancements
• Conduct competitor research to strengthen product positioning
• Engage internal and external API users and improve services based on feedback
• Build product roadmaps and manage backlogs and operations

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in web service product management
• Experience in creating and prioritising product backlogs
• Knowledge of API design principles, REST Standards and modern API best practices
• Business level English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in planning, designing, developing, or operating API Gateway and API management
• Prior experience in communication with API users
• Proven experience in project development and operation using cloud services
• Background in clarifying product vision and formulating a roadmap for realisation with stakeholders
• Prior background in setting and analysing service KPIs, and improving the product based on it
• Proven background in devising ways to obtain user feedback and improving the product based on feedback
