技術マネージャー/ Technical Manager

A global IT company is seeking a Technical Manager. The selected candidate will lead technical discussions, oversee architecture design, and ensure high-quality delivery across development lifecycles. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with Japanese clients to gather requirements and lead technical discussions
• Develop architecture designs, including HLDs and LLDs for backend applications
• Oversee the full development lifecycle from design to deployment
• Coordinate with offshore and cross-functional teams for alignment
• Review implementations to ensure compliance with architecture standards
• Monitor delivery quality against functional and non-functional requirements

Requirements:

• More than 8 years of professional experience
• Experience in requirement analysis, architecture design, HLD/LLD
• Prior experience handling Japan-based clients
• Proven experience with Java, SpringBoot, and related frameworks is a plus
• Background in project lifecycle ownership (testing and lower phase reviews)
• Prior background in project management is preferred
• Native level Japanese (JLPT N2+); business level English
