AI・データサイエンス・チームマネージャー/ AI/Data Science Team Manager

An AI/Data Science Team Manager role is now open in a renowned insurance company. The chosen applicant will be responsible for managing a team of AI specialists, data scientists, and machine learning engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders in various IT departments globally for the development of best practices and delivery of results
• Utilise deep expertise in cloud ML frameworks to architect scalable and efficient AI solutions
• Engage with vendors and external parties to assess technologies and collaborate on AI solution development
• Drive the development of modular AI stacks and API gateways ensuring robust architecture and scalability across use cases
• Champion the exploration and implementation of Generative AI techniques to enhance product offerings and drive innovation
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and maintenance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics or a related technical field (Masters or PhD is preferred)
• More than 3 years of experience in managing and leading AI teams, with a track record of successful project delivery
• Extensive hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions using cloud-based ML frameworks (Azure, AWS, etc)
• Experience in agile methodologies and managing priorities across multiple AI projects
• Strong understanding of AI stack development and creating API gateways for providing stack components to a variety of projects for consumption
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, etc.
• Familiarity with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and DevOps practices for model deployment and monitoring
• Solid grasp of data pipelines, data management and distributed computing principles
