テクニカルコンサルタント/ Technical Consultant

A renowned IT service provider is looking for a Technical Consultant. The selected candidate will deliver pre-sales technical expertise, coordinate customer projects, and provide post-sales product support.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical expert and customer contact for product-related matters
• Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable products and technical solutions
• Support sales presentations, tender submissions, proposals, and distribution channels
• Communicate customer technical needs to product, sales, and marketing teams
• Coordinate requirements, development, validation, and stakeholder communication throughout customer projects
• Resolve product and quality issues while identifying potential upselling opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognised institution
• More than 5 years of experience in technical support, technical consulting, or field application engineering roles supporting Japanese customers
• Knowledge of software programming or embedded software development, including User requirement clarification and specification preparation
• Prior knowledge of smart card product features and application design
• Understanding of Java Card, 3GPP, ETSI, GlobalPlatform, and ISO 7816 standards
• Familiarity with cryptography concepts (Symmetric and asymmetric algorithms, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Authentication mechanisms, Digital certificates)
• Skilled in reading and understanding application designs and menu flowcharts prepared by Research & Development teams
• Prior skills in technical writing, including requirements gathering and technical documentation
