A global media company is seeking a Technical Consultant. The role involves handling and resolving customer issues and leading various issue resolution efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve customer problems and incidents
- Serve as the main contact for customer issues
- Lead and communicate with issue resolution teams
- Support major incidents, conduct post-incident reviews, and apply learnings
- Analyse metrics to identify areas for quality improvement
- Maintain site documentation specific to customers
- Collaborate with customer IT departments
- Work with support partners and product specialists to give feedback on product performance
- Engage with product engineering and service design teams to ensure quality and best practices
- Provide input on product feature development for the local market
- Continuously update technical skills in software development, automation, and cloud computing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (software engineering or a relevant domain)
- More than 3 years of experience in software development
- Experience supporting applications in the cloud (AWS, AZURE, etc)
- Prior experience with SaaS technologies and systems
- Knowledge of the technologies used to build and operate distributed application systems (Network, Security, APIs, etc.)
- Fluent level reading and written Japanese and English
