HMIアプリケーション開発エンジニア/ HMI Application Development Engineer

A renowned technology company is looking for an HMI Application Development Engineer, Customer Application. The selected candidate will lead HMI control application development for ADAS, coordinate cross-functional engineering activities, and drive customer-facing development discussions. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements definition and function development for HMI control applications
• Develop and implement C software, including ECU communication control
• Evaluate HMI performance using vehicles and driving simulators
• Respond quickly to specification changes with internal and related application teams
• Review software and advise teams to maintain mass-production quality
• Negotiate development scope, schedules, and budget with customers and partners

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in HMI development for mass production vehicles or development of control software for cockpit ECUs of Meter, HUD, or multimedia systems
• Professional level Japanese and English; proficient in written and spoken Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• More than 3 years of production-level programming experience in C
• Experience in embedded or ECU software development
• Prior experience in software architecture design, software implementation, verification, and evaluation
• Proven experience in model-based development (MBD) using MATLAB, Simulink, or similar technologies
• Background in mobile/web/desktop application development using Python, Flutter, Unity, Blender, or similar
• Prior background with automotive industry standards such as functional safety (ISO 26262) and SOTIF
• Proven background in project management with Agile/Scrum
• Prior Driving simulator development background
• Proven UX planning and interactive design background
