テクニカルサポートエンジニア/ Technical Support Engineer

An international software company is looking for a Technical Support Engineer. The selected candidate will provide expert technical support for data protection and backup solutions, troubleshooting complex issues and supporting customer environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and in-depth troubleshooting for software clients (B2B) via telephone, email, and web conferencing
• Act as a technical focal point in relationships with fellow IT professionals
• Research and troubleshoot customer problems and inquiries
• Update and work on assigned cases in a timely manner
• Contribute to documentation to build the company’s knowledge base
• Document all customer interactions accurately and within SLA in the CRM tool
• Proactively stay up to date with the latest technologies concerning the company’s products and underlying technologies

Requirements:

• Previous troubleshooting/administration experience
• Familiarity with REST API concepts
• Ability to take ownership of client issues through resolution
• Fluent level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Familiarity with MS Office 365, Azure, VMware ESX(i), MS Hyper-V, MS Exchange server administration, DB (SQL/Oracle), Windows OS 2008(r2) & 2012(r2) advanced user or administrative level, practical understanding of TCP/IP, including OS and firewall configuration
