クラウドエンジニア/ Cloud Engineer

A leading technology company is looking for a Cloud Engineer. The selected candidate will design, deploy, and operate cloud and on-premises infrastructure while supporting CI/CD processes and ensuring system stability. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and operate applications and systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Participate in project planning, technical design discussions, and risk mitigation
• Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Support internal teams through monitoring, troubleshooting cross-platform issues, and performance tuning
• Operate both on-premises and cloud-based data infrastructure, ensuring stability and SLA compliance
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and implement automation across deployments
• Manage secrets and configuration using Vault and GitHub
• Collaborate with teams using Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• More than 1 year of On-call incident response experience
• More than 1 year of experience in managing and troubleshooting FOSS tools (Vault, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• More than 3 years of experience in the following: (flexible)

DevOps principles (CI/CD, automation)
Python or Bash scripting
Docker & Kubernetes
Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
engineering background (software, systems, or DevOps)
dedicated DevOps or similar role
CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, ArgoCD, FluxCD, etc.)
Cloud experience, specifically Google Cloud Platform
Infrastructure provisioning using Terraform

Preferred requirements:

• Prior RDBMS/SQL experience
• Experience in data engineering or large-scale data pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts and configuration
• Strong, clean coding ability in Python and Bash for automation
