シニアSRE/ Senior SRE

A renowned technology company is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). The selected candidate will architect, operate, and secure large-scale data pipelines while ensuring system reliability and collaborating across the cloud, application, and security teams. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop tools to automate and operate large-scale, real-time data pipelines
• Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and system optimisation
• Improve reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and SLAs/SLOs/SLIs
• Lead and support migration of data components to Google Cloud Platform with secure architecture
• Implement cloud security controls, including IAM, network security, encryption, and vulnerability management
• Design and test high-availability and disaster recovery mechanisms
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and integrate security checks
• Collaborate with application, data, and security teams to ensure secure and efficient data flows
• Mentor junior and mid-level SREs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 4 years of software development experience, ideally with Python
• More than 2 years of operating large-scale, near-real-time distributed systems
• More than 4 years of Linux & systems internals experience
• More than 2 years managing cloud infrastructure on GCP/AWS/Azure
• Experience with IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance
• More than 2 years with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
• More than 3 years with monitoring, logging, alerting and understanding SLAs/SLOs/SLIs
• More than 3 years of operating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Java/Node.js/Scala)
• More than 3 years with containerization using Docker/Kubernetes, including container security
• Prior experience setting up and testing distributed relational databases
• Experience leveraging AI tools for alerting optimisation, workload tuning, log analysis, or test automation

Preferred requirements:

• Possess valid Cloud security certifications (GCP/AWS Security)
• Prior experience with SIEMs, CSPM, or vulnerability scanners
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Hive, BigQuery, MongoDB
• Exposure to time-series databases
• Familiarity with Ant, Maven, npm, sbt, Yarn
• Experience with other CI/CD systems
• Hadoop ecosystem and distributed data systems (e.g., Elasticsearch)
