組込みLinuxエンジニア/ Embedded Linux Engineer

A global technology company is seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer. The selected candidate will develop and enhance company firmware, contributing to product innovation through design, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and define requirements in collaboration with sales and hardware engineers based on customer needs
• Design and implement embedded Linux software (firmware) for products using C
• Customise Linux kernels and develop device drivers for networking and security applications
• Conduct product evaluations and provide technical support post-release
• Debug and analyse issues to identify hardware or software root causes using tools such as JTAG/SWD debuggers and oscilloscopes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance standards are met

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development, including requirements, design, implementation, and testing
• Proven experience in C programming and embedded Linux development
• Development experience in C++, C#, Go, or Python is ideal
• Experience with network devices, IoT/M2M systems, or wireless communication is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Linux kernel, open-source software, and hardware for industrial or communication devices
• Understanding of AI fundamentals, embedded microprocessors, and electronic circuit boards
• Native level Japanese; proficient in written and reading English
