A Full Stack role is now open in a technology company. The chosen applicant will be responsible for developing front-end POS systems and microservices using modern tech, ensuring scalable retail solutions. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop front-end components for next-generation POS systems
• Apply modern software development principles, theories, and concepts to design, coding, system performance scaling, and problem-solving
• Understand and analyse requirements for new and existing software
• Enhance existing software to meet evolving business needs
• Build microservices using various programming languages and cloud technologies
• Work within a modern digital retail software stack
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless product development
• Deliver next-generation products based on requirements from product management and engineering

Requirements:

• Experience using version control tools such as Git
• Experience in optimising web page load speed and performance
• Proficient in defining the structure and style of web pages
  using markup and style sheets (HTML/CSS)
• Skilled in developing interactive features for web pages using scripting languages (JavaScript)
• Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Capable of implementing designs that adapt to mobile devices and various screen sizes
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Skilled in testing front-end code and fixing bugs
• Experience with POS solutions for retail, food, or drugstore sectors (payment systems, eWIC, loyalty programs, promotions, etc.) is preferred
• Proficient in Japanese (English is advantageous)
