Javaデベロッパー/ Java Developer

A multinational financial services company is seeking a Java Developer to join the Wholesale Data & Operations Technology team. The selected candidate will develop and support scalable software solutions for derivatives middle and back-office processing while advancing IT transformation initiatives. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to system design and software development for derivatives applications
• Participate in the full project lifecycle, including technical analysis, design, development, and testing
• Provide 3rd-level support to the Production Support team for efficient issue resolution
• Prioritise tasks and deliver work following Agile methodologies
• Communicate proactively with the team and managers to align on priorities and timelines

Requirements:

• Practical experience with DevOps tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Maven)
• Prior experience in the finance industry is ideal
• Experience with global system development and support is a plus
• Strong system design and development skills
• Proficient in Linux, MS SQL / RDBMS, JAVA, Spring, MyBatis, Angular
• Knowledge of C, C++, or Delphi is desired
• Business knowledge of derivatives products and lifecycle is preferred
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, or Restful APIs is a plus
• Bilingual level Japanese and English
