DevOps/SRE

A foreign insurance company is searching for a DevOps or SRE. The chosen applicant will be responsible for building and supporting business applications while ensuring optimal system performance. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and configuration management needed for continuous integration, deployment, and delivery pipelines
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems
• Monitor and optimise system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and alerting in all aspects of infrastructure and application development
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for production systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science
• Strong experience in system operations, with a focus on DevOps and SRE
• practices
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, in particular AWS
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash,
• or PowerShell
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace, etc.)
• Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
• Experience with enterprise architecture and distributed systems is desirable
• Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) is preferred
• Business level English; conversational level Japanese is preferred
