A leading financial firm is looking for a KDB Developer. The selected candidate will develop and maintain a large-scale KDB platform to support quantitative investment strategies. This is a long term contract and hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain KDB platforms for investment strategies
• Design and optimise q queries for analytics
• Build and manage API access for quants and trading systems
• Collaborate with strategists to enhance the data platform
• Contribute to technical strategy and architecture decisions
• Improve system performance, stability, and scalability

Requirements:

• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining KDB systems
• Skilled with Python and SQL
• Understanding of Java is ideal
• Knowledge of equity derivatives products is preferred
• Proficient in English
