Javaデベロッパー/ Java Developer

A renowned telecom company is seeking a Java Developer. The selected candidate will contribute to the design and development of services, enhancing the platform's backend services for seamless communication APIs. This is a hybrid setup and contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise backend services for CPaaS platform, ensuring smooth integration with frontend services
• Implement and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SRE and frontend engineers, to develop and implement prototypes
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
• Actively participate in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• More than 6 years of proven backend software engineering experience in Java (v17+)
• Proven experience in developing and optimising data pipelines and maintaining reporting systems
• Prior experience with real-time data processing frameworks and database experience in ELK/Kafka
• Experience with cloud-based deployments, continuous integration/continuous delivery systems, and DevOps practices
• Experience in a team lead role is ideal
• Proficient with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of low-level networking, inter-networking, and Linux
