A global financial company is searching for a Lead Java Developer. This position will serve as a leader of a software development team in multiple development projects up to release. This is a temp to perm position.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the software development team
• Manage multiple concurrent complex system software development projects
• Understand and effectively communicate principles of good software design to the team in order to improve quality and efficiency
• Enforce best practices during the software development life cycle
• Ensure effective cross-function collaboration in activities such as knowledge sharing, design reviews, code re-use, etc.
• Conduct risk mitigation and ensure compliance to quality requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar technical field
• 8+ years of object oriented development experience mainly in Java
• Successful experience in software or web development project implementation
• Strong understanding of the software development cycle
• Experience in the scrum or agile development methods
• Business level English
