A Tokyo-based internet technology company is looking for an intermediate/senior-level Software Developer. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python and associated web application frameworks. Japanese proficiency is not a requirement for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, modify, support, and maintain Python features for existing projects
- Participate in software requirements analysis, collaborative design, code review, and test plan creation
- Work with a diverse team, effectively communicating and sharing knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 3+ years’ experience with Python and associated web application frameworks
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
- Experience with Docker and working in dockerized environments
- Business level English proficiency; Japanese proficiency is a plus but not required
