An international telecommunications firm is looking for a Technical Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will be accountable for maintaining test systems for mobile devices. This is a long-term contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Examine technical requirements related to products and test systems
- Produce engineering documents such as diagnostics, schematics, flowcharts, and reports on project status
- Implement test system configuration and calibration
- Resolve problems on test systems
- Monitor and strengthen performance of the tester
- Inform the technical team of any bugs
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in test engineering, user support and telecommunications
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of testing Android or iOS cellular phones is an advantage
- Familiarity with Lean principles is a plus
