A global travel management agency is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and contribute to IT system maintenance. This is a contract role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide second-level support for incidents and requests via various channels
- Perform hands-on fixes at desktop level, including hardware repairs and peripheral delivery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Assist in IT systems maintenance and user account management
- Facilitate hardware requests and maintain asset management tools
- Build and maintain advanced troubleshooting skills in infrastructure and applications
Requirements:
- More than 2 years of experience in onsite or desktop support roles
- Practical experience with Active Directory, M365, video conferencing tools, and IT hardware management
- Technical hands-on experience
- Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Freshdesk
- Compliance with organisational security practices
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with PowerShell/Bash is preferred
- Fluent level Japanese; business level English
