プロジェクトエンジニア/ Project Engineer

A Project Engineer position is now available at a global telecommunications company. The chosen individual will be in charge for setting up station to connect Satellite Operator’s Mission Control Centres.

Responsibilities:

• Establish station connectivity with Ground Stations
• Formulate a test plan for verifying customer requirements
• Execute verification tests on the station platform to ensure accuracy and alignment with customer needs
• Administer GSaaS, Ground Station as a Service, to Satellite Operators
• Collaborate with the software product team to enhance and sustain SLA

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace
• More than 3 years of engineering experience in communication software
• Knowledge in Satellite Industry and space technology
• Experience with the following software (Linux OS, a programming language (preferably Python), SQL, Git, Grafana, TerraForm) is ideal
• Understanding of Low Earth Orbit Satellite’s orbital analysis theory is a plus
• Background in overall Satellite function theory is preferred
• Possess a valid authorisation to work in Tokyo, Japan
• Possess a valid technical or radio operator licence qualification
• Fluent level Japanese; proficient in verbal and written English
