ITディビジョンマネージャー/ IT Division Manager

A renowned chemical manufacturer is looking for an IT Division Manager. The selected candidate will manage financial reporting, business performance analysis, and oversee IT and legal matters within the Japan entity. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial management reporting for Japan, ensuring consolidation of financials and timely analytics
• Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with local teams to map out key financial projections
• Support business growth by monitoring sales drivers, price increase initiatives, and productivity indicators
• Ensure compliance with financial accounting standards, statutory audit requirements, and timely preparation of financial reports
• Manage IT-related matters for Japan, liaising with regional and local IT teams
• Lead and motivate the finance team, setting targets and managing performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accountancy
• 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in a progressive MNC with IFRS closing experience is ideal
• Knowledge of Japanese accounting standards
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
• Strong skills in MS Office Suite
• Professional level Japanese and English
