データエンジニア / Data Engineer

A multinational eCommerce company is looking for a Data Engineer. The selected candidate will build and manage large-scale data pipelines, automate processes, and support cloud migration.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain large-scale batch data pipelines
• Build and manage data pipelines to support business decision-making
• Automate data ingestion to streamline data processing
• Migrate on-premises data infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform
• Debug and maintain production applications using logging, alerting, and monitoring tools
• Lead a team of software engineers to achieve project goals

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience as data engineer
• Experience in developing and operating Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka applications
• Prior experience in Python or Java/Scala
• Proven development and operational experience with Google Cloud Platform or BigQuery
• Background in relational databases
• Prior data modelling background
• Proven experience developing on Linux
• Understanding of SQL
• Business level reading, written, and verbal Japanese is ideal; professional level English (TOEIC 800+)
