データサイエンティスト/ Data Scientist

A renowned eCommerce company is looking for a Data Scientist to drive AI solutions for its C2C flea market platform. The selected candidate will lead the development and implementation of AI models to enhance business performance and revenue growth. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Propose AI solutions by collaborating with marketing, customer support, and operations teams
• Analyse business data to identify insights and opportunities
• Develop predictive models based on analysis results
• Implement AI models into operational systems and maintain existing models
• Provide API solutions on cloud platforms when necessary
• Ensure smooth project execution by coordinating with business and technical teams

Requirements:

• Practical experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Hands on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models for practical use
• Previous experience with AWS setup and ML Ops development is ideal
• Prior consulting experience in machine learning solutions is a plus
• Experience in API, frontend, and batch development is desired
• Broad knowledge of predictive machine learning, including regression and classification
• Proficient in Python for data processing and model construction
• Skilled in SQL for large-scale data analysis and problem-solving
• Knowledge of generative AI and natural language processing is preferred
• Native level Japanese; business level English (TOEIC 800+)
