データサイエンティスト / Data Scientist

A leading global luxury brand is seeking a Data Scientist. The selected candidate will perform data analysis, develop statistical models, and collaborate with teams across different regions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand data patterns, relationships, and quality
• Cleanse, preprocess, and transform data for analysis and modelling purposes
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges
• Apply regression analysis, time series analysis, clustering, and classification to extract insights and make predictions
• Optimise and fine-tune models to enhance accuracy and performance
• Visualise and present data-driven insights to stakeholders clearly and concisely

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role with a track record of impactful data-driven solutions
• Prior experience with SQL data warehouses (BigQuery is a plus)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling
• Solid understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools (Looker, Power BI, or similar)
• Knowledge of data science platforms like Dataiku and their machine learning services is desirable
• Experience with LLM is a plus
• Native level Japanese; proficient in English
