A multinational manufacturer of electronic instruments is looking to fill an Application Engineer position. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing technical assistance to increase sales of assigned measuring instruments.

Responsibilities:

• Handle sample measurement and demonstrations
• Prepare sales tools and presentations for clients
• Aid in managing customer satisfaction
• Deliver presentation at seminars, etc.
• Liaise with HQ to facilitate product and application development
• Undertake local and global business trips when necessary

Requirements:

• Background in measuring instruments, bearings, machine tools, automobiles, or precision machining is ideal
• Expertise in organisational improvement
• Skilled in understanding customer requirements
• Capability to work with cross-functional colleagues
• Ability and willingness to travel locally and internationally
• English proficiency
