ITサポートスタッフ/ IT Support Staff

A foreign financial institution is looking for an IT Support Staff. The selected applicant will manage and support IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, security, and user support.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor events on servers and analyse sources of problems
• Perform data backup and restoration
• Set up and manage user computers and network devices
• Manage security patches and anti-virus on systems
• Arrange network installations or relocations
• Maintain business continuity resources at backup sites
• Establish and update procedure manuals for IT systems
• Procure IT resources and manage maintenance contracts
• Provide technical support to end-users of IT systems and applications
• Contact external IT providers in case of issues or requests
• Manage troubleshooting tickets and follow-up
• Generate reports requested by end-users
• Create, modify, or remove user accounts in IT applications
• Regularly review user account records and permissions
• Regularly review firewall and security rules

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of working experience in end-user support, preferably in financial institutions
• Experience in support of Microsoft Office products
• Operation experience of virtual environment (Hyper-V is preferable), MS SQL Server, Exchange Server, WSUS, ARCServe, and Active Directory
• Basic knowledge of the network
• Knowledge of Windows-based Operating Systems such as Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and Windows 10/11
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact across all business units
• Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English (TOEIC 700+)
