An international business solutions provider is looking for a Software Senior Support Specialist. The selected individual will attain expertise in the company's internal software and its associated products.
Responsibilities:
- Master proprietary software and related products
- Build client relationships as their primary contact
- Address software or content issues collaboratively
- Escalate issues promptly when necessary
- Record support details in a centralised database
- Communicate updates and concerns to clients and management
- Create customised rules and reports to meet client need
- Organise software training for clients to foster expertise
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, information system management, or relevant domain
- More than 5 years of experience in software technical support or implementation
- Experience in database principles (SQL Server), .NET web applications, XML, software configuration and application troubleshooting
- Prior experience with Oracle database is ideal
- Proven experience with GHS-, SDS-, or Chemical-related software packages is preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Business level spoken and written English; native level Japanese
