A global technology organisation is searching for a Senior Technical Support Engineer. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to client via various communication channels. This is a Tokyo-based position.
Responsibilities:
- Guide communication, troubleshooting, and case management
- Ensure assigned cases meet response and resolution targets
- Address root causes and resolve issues while assisting peers
- manage and prioritise cases based on severity
- Identify and report software, design, and maintenance issues
- Develop and maintain consistent performance on all KPIs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Networking, or related discipline
- More than 5 years of experience in a technical customer service position or technical support capacity
- More than 3 years of experience with SaaS, telecom, contact centre software, networking technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, SFTP, scripting, etc.) and databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL)
- Practical experience in contact centre business, general market, and business trends
- Knowledge of networking technologies and telecommunications architecture (SBC, SIP, RTP, WebRTC, PBX, Carriers, VoIP)
- Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N2+)
