A top cloud services company is searching for a Marketing IT professional. This position will be responsible for serving on the helpdesk team to provide a variety of customer support. This is a long-term temporary position with the potential to become permanent.
- Manage the helpdesk ticket queue and provide world class support
- Work with tier 2 and 3 support levels, escalate tickets to appropriate teams, and report issues for escalation
- Confirm status of open cases and communicate with customers
- Carry out follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction with recent cases
- Provide training to new hires regarding system use and company policies
- Troubleshoot PC, Servers, and Mac hardware
- 1+ years of successful helpdesk experience
- Experience in helpdesk ticketing systems and ACD phone environments
- Troubleshooting abilities for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, macs, and servers
- Intermediate or higher troubleshooting skills for Windows XP, Mac OS, Ubuntu, MS Office Suite, Blackberry, VPN, Antivirus, Spyware, etc.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, cluster technologies, RAID, SAN, etc.
